It is a crazy and stressful time in the world - many of us are tense and exhausted, making it easy to let ‘self-care’ fall by the wayside! Yet, you are HERE! Taking a step in the right direction, and I am excited that you are!  

 

Good health is your most crucial asset and it goes beyond your physical well-being. It requires you to be ‘in check’ with all aspects of your life – physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and socially. It is a coalescing of your body, your mind, and your spirit.  

 

I provide nutrition and lifestyle strategies for all ages. I aim to offer you a holistic experience as we work together to meet your health goals. I supply you with personalized coaching and individualized nourishment plans that are simple yet effective.

Why A Nutritionist

The foods you eat impact everything from the microbes in your gut to how much inflammation you have in your body – it influences what disease you may live with down the road. Making healthy food choices is one of the best ways to improve overall health. If you have ever tried to change your eating habits, you know it’s not simple. It requires commitment as much as forgiving yourself when you have a hiccup.   

 

Working with a certified nutrition coach offers an entirely new and unique approach to healthcare and wellness. Certified nutrition coaches are wellness professionals trained in evidence-based practices that help motivate their clients and give them assistance to meet their well-being goals. The model is different from a ten-minute appointment with a physician that sends you home with a prescription or a referral.  Nutrition coaches spend time with you, work with you, and invest in you and your progress (they empathize with your plight and feel your pain and joy while on your wellness journey).   

 

There’s a lot of information about how ‘to eat right,’ and separating fact from fiction or healthy from unhealthy can be challenging. A nutrition coach can help you cut through misinformation and walk you through an elimination diet (if needed) or food options through a personalized program designed to assist you on your health journey.   

 

Nutrition coaches guide you in developing healthy eating habits while creating a loving mindset around food. Even if you know what you need to do to feel better, the accountability and support offered by a nutrition coach can make a huge difference to help you turn unhealthy behavior into healthy, long-term habits.   

 

Emotional eating is one of the most common challenges people experience while addressing their eating habits.  A nutrition coach will help you understand your unique triggers, so you recognize your emotional ties to food (we all have them!) and can empower you to nourish your body in the way it needs (for people who struggle with disease and require medical nutrition intervention, it’s worth distinguishing that only a registered dietitian, not a certified nutritional coach, has the unique ability to provide medical nutrition therapy).
