CARBS
Carbohydrates are important for providing energy to all cells of our bodies – they are the NUMBER ONE fuel source for our brain. The carbohydrates we eat are broken down into glucose, which is the main fuel our bodies uses for energy and to carry out normal cellular processes (muscle and tissue repair, hormone synthesis and enzyme formation). Our bodies need carbohydrates to function optimally!!
